TL;DR (only for the really curious)
WHAT IS GOING ON
If a raid results in the loss of at least 50% of the attacking raiders,
then this is a victory for the player
If you lose two raids against your castle, there will be no more
raids against you, but you can and should send out your troops to
reinforce teammates who are still being attacked
For each victory, the property owner gets a fixed # of points
o # of points increases for each raid
o Points awarded may be reduced if you lose more than a
handful of troops in the attack
o For raids 10 and 20, the "owner" is the garrison leader (either
the first player into the fortress or anyone who activates Mega
Garrison, which is a big waste of 2,000 gold)
However, each player (and the team overall) can earn so many
more points with troops sent as reinf & HQ garrison
Scoring Points
"Base Points" = points awarded to owner if player prevails against
the raid (at least 50% of the raiding troops killed)
"Extra Points" = points awarded to other players for troops
reinforcing the owner's estate (or garrison leader's fortress)
Extra Points are awarded based on relative strength of troops
More points = more rewards at end of event
Scoring Example 1:
o Raid #16 where 10 million power troops are reinforcing an
estate with troops totaling 30 million
o estate owner earns 42,000 points (just like every other player
who prevailed against that raid)
o reinforcing player earns a proportion of base points, namely 10
million / (30 million + 10 million) = 25% x 42000 = 10500
Scoring Example 2:
o Same as Example 1, but two different players have each sent
10 million power marches to an estate protected with 30
million strong troops
o Estate owner always earns same base points (42000)
irrespective of the number of troops (theirs or reinf)
o Each reinforcing player earns a proportion of base points: 10M
/ (30M + 10M + 10M) = 20% x 42000 = 8400
o The team earned more points overall (2 x 8400 = 16800) than
in Example 1 (10500), but each player earned less than they
would have had they been the only reinforcing march
Scoring Example 3:
o Raid #6: 10 million power troops are reinforcing an estate that
sent out all of its troops to reinforce other players
o In other words, the estate would be defenseless were it not for
the reinforcements
o Though the estate owner had 0 troops at home, they still earn
the entirety of the base points (18000 for Raid #6)
o Since the reinforcements constituted 100% of the protection,
that player also earns 100% of the base points
o This only works if the reinforcing troops were strong enough to
beat back the raid on their own
Scoring Example 5: (our team's new standard)
o Raid #10: Gee is first into fortress with 50 T11 troops
o : Gee earns full base points: 552000
o Everyone else with garrisoned troops earns almost 552,000
points combined (99.9% of base points for 99.9% of defense)
o We have collected maximum possible points for the team
